Marlene Cordes

Marlene is the owner of Dance Easy. She’s been teaching for over 25 years and has received recognition for her outstanding ability in working with beginning dancers.

With Marlene, you can learn any of the ballroom dances or just "survival dancing" for a crash course before a wedding.

There are no contracts or sales pitches. Just good teaching with lots of patience.

Students have often remarked about how comfortable Marlene makes them feel during their instruction, including reluctant male partners who usually find they like dancing!

Black Forest Farm, LLC   - Dancing with Horses

Marlene has expanded her teaching to include her love for animals.  She’s developed an Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program at her 54-acre farm near Blue Mounds.  This is "Dancing with Horses" if you will.  While students don’t need to have experience with horses, their mostly on-the-ground connection with horses as partners allows them to gain personal insights, grow, heal and prosper. She works with individuals, couples, families, small businesses and larger corporations.  Business applications include improved communication, team building, leadership development and increased sales and productivity.

The Canine Partners Program utilizes certified therapy dogs in schools, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and with youth leadership groups. Marlene's 5 rescue dogs are either certified or in the process of certification. They are regulars at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) with both staff and residents. The program also helps others who want to certify their dogs as therapy dogs. Dance Easy students may have a chance to meet some of the therapy dogs as they sometimes visit the studio as part of their training and socialization.

Dance Easy is a proud supporter of the I am Magic Foundation.  The foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that uses Equine Assisted Learning and Healing (EAL) methods. Horses and other companion and farm animals help youth, veterans and others who have experienced trauma.
